At our center, you will find teachers who are trained in early childhood development, who value, respect, and sensitively respond to the unique needs that each child holds. The time that your child spends with Mommy and Daddy must be a blossoming time. We are pleased to serve as your extended family members.
Preschool Teacher
Camie Huntley
Camie has over 20 years of experience and earned double bachelor's degrees from LCSC in Early Childhood Development and Business Management.
She grew up in Grangeville Idaho where her family is 3rd and now 4th generation well drillers. She is a single parent to 3 amazing children, Brayden, Roxy, and Ryllan. She has 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. Camie enjoys the outdoors, going on adventures, horses, and most of all her preschool program here.
Camie chose to teach young children 19 years ago when her oldest son was diagnosed with autism. She struggled to find a childcare center that was patient and knowledgeable enough to care for him. Camie then went to college to educate herself on how best to care and teach children like her son and now enjoys sharing that knowledge and skills by providing a quality center and also teaching here.
Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher
Tasha Siebert
Tasha has worked at Sandcastle Kids since 2013. She has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from University of Idaho.
Tasha has two younger brothers who grew up on a cattle ranch outside the tiny town of White Bird, Idaho. Tasha attended school in Grangeville. She has been married since 2017, bought their home in 2018, and welcomed their son in the midst of a pandemic in September 2020. She loves spending quality time with her family, rafting the Salmon River in the summers, true crime podcasts, a good pedicure, comfy hoodies, and coffee! She recently welcomed a Maltipoo puppy named Leo to join their crazy family as well.
Tasha is very passionate about early childhood education and feels that it is a fantastic way for children to get a head start in their school career. With the partnership from parents, she tries to make sure that our infants and toddlers are prepared and ready to move into the preschool room when the time comes. This helps to make for a smooth transition for the student and staff.
Tasha truly loves her job. It brings her immense joy and new challenges each and every day. One of the main things she loves about Sandcastle is the atmosphere. It really feels like a big family with our close-knit community of parents, guardians, and staff. Everyone gives their best effort to provide the best learning environment for the children. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have for her.
